PARTNERSHIP REQUEST

Peniel Prayer City International is a non-denominational ministry situated in Ankpa an Islamic community in Kogi State – North Central, Nigeria. In addition to the message of good news we run a free school for orphans, take care of widows as well as the elderly through our charity foundation “Peniel Life Care Foundation”.

Our organization is an interdenominational Christian ministry located in Ankpa local government area of Kogi state Nigeria.

Our mission apart from spiritual empowerment is to provide monthly support to widows, orphans, aged men and women, rehabilitate drug addicts and affordable education for the less privilege.

Currently, we are providing monthly food items to widows and cash assistance to orphans on our list. Due to limited resources there large numbers of potential beneficiaries which we are unable to assist.

We have helped provide regular meals, mostly rice, beans, semovita, yams, oil, and other condiments when possible, pay orphans school fees and examination fees both in secondary schools, college of educations, polytechnics, and universities.

Children have been orphaned through death of parents due to several circumstances ( such as  HIV/AIDS, poor health care, and malnutrition) abandonment or neglect by family members.

The majority of parents can no longer provide for basic needs such as food, clothing and an environment conducive for the good health for their children.

Furthermore, low income coupled with unemployment has exacerbated the problem. Unfortunately, government cannot adequately address the humanitarian and social needs of these disadvantaged children and as such, most children are engaged in unwholesome activities such as child prostitution leading to the spread of disease in addition to high teen pregnancy rates, juvenile delinquency, waywardness, all of which are now amounting to serious health and social problems in the society.

Due to lack of parental guidance and loose societal moral, young ones take on hard drugs and cultism which if unattended to could lead to greater societal problem in the future.

The plight of our children, particularly the orphans, abandoned and neglected, if left unattended will create greater resource problems, an adverse effect on our economic growth and development of the future.

In these light, religious institutions, related organizations and individuals are trying to address the problems by establishing programs that would bring smiles to the destitute children. Despite the numerous orphanages operating in the country there is still an acute shortage of these facilities to care for these orphaned, abandoned and neglected children and especially in Ankpa Local Government area of Kogi state.
